Hi there, any chance to see this important feature request implemented in a reasonable delay?
And as wrote Tony Jenkins before, the unsubscribe/manage link should be removed from the mail when "Email to a friend" is chosen.

I thought there might be some kind of a workaround (at least for a newsletter for just one new post) that would be to create a button in my template, labelled "Send this post by mail" with a button link looking like:
mailto:who@mail.addr?subject=Some%20reading&body=blabla%20[postLink]
at least for some testing, but so far this opens a new mail window (I'm using thunderbird) with to and subject fields OK but in the body [postlink] isn't replaced with the post link...
I'm afraid there's no solution this way, any idea?

I support this for a very important, overlooked reason:
If you forward an email now, the personalized unsubscribe/manage subscription links (for the subscriber who forwards the email) will be included. WE'VE HAD SUBSCRIBERS FORWARD EMAILS ONLY TO HAVE THEIR FRIENDS THEN UNSUBSCRIBE THEM FROM OUR LIST.
The forwarding option should clean out the subscription links.
FYI - MAILCHIMP and other major newsletter providers include this as a standard.

I don't like this. I think you should just forward the email to your friend and let them know where to go to sign up. I don't want people signing me up for emails. I get enough junk email the way it is!

Don't need to making the plugin bloated while the plugin is capable to do the work. You can simply make a list and add your friend's email and name on the list then create a comapaing nad run this campaign listing that list. This is currently possible.

Mohsin Alam: No, it's not this that we need
The request is that the user that recive an email can forward the email to friends
