There is no function stated in the API which allows for adding / removing user tags. This combined with the inablity to move users to another list without double optin means I may have to ditch this plugin which is a shame as I'm so far downthe road with integrating it!

Hi folks, new public APIs for tags management has now shipped in MailPoet 5.24.0, along with several other features: https://github.com/mailpoet/mailpoet/releases

Is there really still no method to programmatically add tags to users in a way that triggers automations? So, far I've only been able to add tags via direct DB inputs, but this doesn't trigger automations.

It would be helpful to be able to update users in general via the API, including adding tags and custom field data.
