Better Management of Custom Fields
in progress
Travis Pflanz
Currently, any custom field added to any form remains indefinitely (unless removed manually through the database).
As well, all fields are displayed on the "Update Subscription" page.
This is an area that could definitely use some attention. It's kind of like a sledge hammer at this point. I'd prefer a scapel.

I agree with you that MailPoet needs a better management for custom fields and better document this. However, you don't need to delete them manually in the database. There is a button in the form editor to delete custom fields: https://d.pr/i/ynCJy2

Faced the same problem, searched Google, the mailpoet2 method works. It can be deleted from the field box. Better documentation is definitely required

Koushik Sinha Deb: Will you please share a link that describes this "mailpoet2 method" you mentioned? I'm running into an issue with this again.

Travis Pflanz: In the new mailpoet, after you have created and addeda custom field (in the pic)-- 1. deletes it from the form, while 2. deletes it from everywhere. Hope this helps! Cheers
