E-Mail templates (e.g. via "WP HTML Mail")
Philipp Stracker
I would like to design a global email template (with header/footer and font/color settings) so all emails have the same design.
Right now we use "WP HTML Mail" to provide a custom email template for all system emails. Only MailPoet emails do not use that template.
Can you consider to
(a) Allow us to provide one/more global HTML templates that we can choose from when editing a new email (e.g. via an HTML file in the child-theme).
(b) Or integrate a toggle to enable the global "WP HTML Mail" templates
(This is the plugin I'm referring to: https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-html-mail/)

It's been quite a while since Philipp started the discussion, and my apologies it's taken so long for us to get here.
Earlier this week with MailPoet 5.6.1 we launched an early preview version of the upcoming Gutenberg-based email editor.
As one of the major features it includes "Global templates", where you can design a template once, by adding colors, logos, other branding, and reuse it for newly created emails.
The editor is still in a very early version, and may not offer all of the features for your use cases - it's a preview of the upcoming experience, but if you're at all interested - we'd love to hear from you if that type of a flow would help improve your workflow.
You try the new editor out by
- Updating to MailPoet 5.6.1 or newer
- Going to MailPoet > Emails > New Email
- Clicking the "Down" arrow next to the "Newsletter > Create" button, and choosing "Create using the new email editor (Alpha)"
You can switch to the "Global template" mode by double clicking on the header image. Any changes you make to the Global Template will apply to all emails that use the template.
Thanks!

HTML Templates

Please add the feature to upload HTML templates. There are loads of templates on Envato, and it would be helpful for us to design our own templates. thank you
