Improve the mobile usability of the MailPoet administration interface
Luc NAROLLES (Surligneur de Talents !)
The MailPoet administration interface is currently difficult to use on smartphones and smaller screens.
For example, on the subscriber and email management pages, it can be difficult to:
* see whether an email or post notification is active, paused or inactive;
* read all the information displayed in tables;
* access columns, filters and action buttons;
* review subscriber details;
* perform simple management actions without switching to a desktop computer.
A fully separate mobile application does not seem necessary. However, it would be very useful for the main MailPoet administration pages to have a more responsive mobile layout.
The most important information and controls could be displayed as mobile-friendly cards or reorganised according to priority, particularly:
* email and automation status;
* subscriber status and list membership;
* sending statistics;
* activation, pause and management controls;
* warnings requiring an administrator’s attention.
Many WordPress administrators need to check an email campaign, verify a notification status or manage an urgent issue while away from their computer. Improving the responsive design of these pages would make MailPoet significantly easier to manage on a daily basis.
