Ján Mikláš: Hi! Do you have any place where the new features are explained how it works? For example I see "Improved: include guest users in WooCommerce segments", but I have no clue how its works or where these gues users appear.
Ján Mikláš
Ivan Martinez: Hey Ivan. We don't have such place to explain all changes. For major features, we publish a blog post at https://www.mailpoet.com/blog/ but there is only a couple per year.
For this specific improvement, the issue here was, that if someone made a checkout without creating an account (i.e. a guest user), they would be included in MailPoet's WooCommerce Customers list, but they wouldn't be segmented based on the order they made. Only registered customers were segmented. This is now fixed and all customers are included in segments.
Ivan Martinez
Ján Mikláš: So you include guest customers on Woocommerce Customer list? But as far i can see all of them are introduced as unsubscribed? Is that right?
Ján Mikláš
Ivan Martinez: if a guest user indicates on the checkout, that they want to also subscribe to newsletters, they'll receive a confirmation email. Once confirmed, they are subscribed. Otherwise they'll be unsubscribed.
Ivan Martinez
Ján Mikláš: But the "non guest" users not confirmed appear as Not Confirmed not as unsubscribed, I think should be the same not confirmed status, this is a difference that affects a lot in the way we operate.

Ján Mikláš: Well maybe you should have a place! For god sake Mailpoet will you lift your customer experience! you would have thought that with the sale to Automattic customer service may have improved! #littlethings make #bigthings
Ivan Martinez
Ján Mikláš: Hi Jan, it has sense what I said or Im mistaken? Register and non registers users appear as different statues on the list (not confirme vs unsubscribed) ? Is this made consciously by the team?

Also, if you add up all the related requests for "not" logic, you'd have an actionable request.

Any option that enables "not" or "is not member of" or "was not sent" would be broadly useful. As it is, I find current logic options useless.
