Sending Speed

I use both MailPoet and Amazon SES to send emails. MailPoet says it's sending service can send up to 50K emails an hour but with the opaque SPAM complaint issue, I frequently have to switch to Amazon to complete my sends. But, when I switch to Amazon, the number of emails I can send per hour drops dramatically event though I have higher limits. MailPoet seems to slow down the number of emails it can process, and I'd like to see the limits lifted.

I use only Amazon SES and since a month observe significant slow down in the sending speed, more than 50%. The documentation kind of suggests that they treat all sending methods equally, blaming on the host/database, but I am starting to doubt this: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/425-sending-is-slow
'"If you are using MailPoet Sending Service the logic is similar. By default, the number of emails per batch is 20, and usually, multiple batches are sent per minute. The MailPoet Sending Service is capable of sending up to 50k emails per hour. However, the actual number of batches per minute depends on your hosting and database performance."
